About Me

Of Irish origin, I fell in love with the harp when I was part of the local church choir at 16, inspired by a very talented choir mistress who took me under her wing, seeing my passion for the instrument.

I played for several years in the choir and at national level in competitions such as Scor and Tops of the Town, competing (and winning) against musical talent up and down the country. Weddings became a familiar booking along with years of summer Irish Cabarets at exclusive hotels in the west of Ireland. Not forgetting the "sessions and craic" that goes with the territory, playing songs as people thought of them, anything goes in Ireland.

I moved to England in 1989 and found myself in great demand playing at Christmas carols, house parties, corporate entertaining events, weddings (with a particular specialty for English/Irish partnerships).

My harp is a Celtic folk harp, with a high quality resonance. My repertoire runs from traditional Irish ballads to modern/contemporary including old favourites that cater for a wide audience.

I take great pride in what I do and will always want to ensure that each event is special with attention to every last note.
